What the HECK is that book doing on this list?! What, somebody included it because the author of 50 Shades wrote Twilight fan fiction that she then turned into her own, depraved version of romance?! When I scrolled down this list, I was shocked to find the novel "Eclipse", by Stephenie Meyer, included here.
And I know the plot of 50 Shades, thanks to Wikipedia. How do I know, if I've never read this garbage? Well, I am aware that this genre usually contains BDSM, which I totally DETEST. I was sent an email so that I could vote on this list. My advice to you is to read the reviews for the books and make sure you know what you are purchasing! This is only a warning - because 50 has introduced many people to the concept of BDSM and control but that does not necessarily get followed by a desire to read about someone denied an orgasm for a month, kept in a cage and objectified, or subject to harsh S&M that leaves welts, bruises, and blood. We encourage self exploration (whether you want to embrace a BDSM lifestyle or it will always be books and fantasy to you) and education and limits are respected.
